What is Lockdown Mode and how does it work?

Overview

At Dymo, we focus a lot of our efforts on having the best possible cybersecurity, but this is sometimes difficult when a customer accesses from a malware infected device.

As a solution to this problem, we designed the Lockdown Mode protection system, which blocks all activity on your account, and once activated, only we can disable it.

What does this mode do?

Lockdown Mode will lock down actions on your account, this means that you will not be able to change your credentials or any account data.

This block will also affect your credits, API Keys or any product in your account, these will not be deleted, they will simply be blocked so that in case there is an attacker can not make purchases or spend your credits.

In addition to this, when you activate it, our team will contact you as soon as possible to audit your account and fix what happened.

Why can't I activate it?

Lockdown Mode is not available for free trial accounts, as it requires manual deactivation on our end. To prioritize effectively, we believe that paid users, who have more at stake and are more likely to be targeted, should benefit from this advanced feature.
